24 Panthers from men's ice hockey honored

PLYMOUTH, N.H. – The Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) announced its 2020 Winter/Spring All-Academic Team on Wednesday and 24 Plymouth State University men's ice hockey student-athletes were among the 1,152 total student-athletes to be honored.

Student-athletes who compete in championship varsity sports offered by the MASCAC institutions during the course of the winter and spring 2019-20 athletic season and have achieved a 3.20 cumulative or semester-based grade point average during the semester are eligible for selection to the Winter/Spring All-Academic Team.

The 24 honorees were the second most among the conference's men's ice hockey teams, just one fewer than leader Worcester State University.

"I am extremely proud of the student-athletes who have earned a spot on the 2020 MASCAC Winter/Spring All-Academic Team," Commissioner Angela Baumann said. "The student-athletes dealt with the adversity of changing to remote learning halfway through the semester and continued their academic success through it."

Plymouth State is an affiliate member of the league for the sports of football and men's ice hockey.

A list of Plymouth State student-athletes to receive the honor is included below. The complete list of all honorees is available on the MASCAC website,
