The Physical Education Center (PE Center) is the primary facility for the PSU Athletic Department. Opened in 1969, the building includes department offices, a 1,500 seat gymnasium; a six-lane, 25-yard swimming pool; indoor field house; a wrestling room, The Vailas Performance Center fitness facility, and the Athletic Training and rehabilitation facility. The P.E. Center is surrounded by over 30 acres of athletic fields.
Anyone using the P.E. Center facilities must have either a current student or faculty ID or a facility pass! Facility passes can be purchased in the main office of the P.E. Center. In order to purchase a facility pass, you must be 19 years or older. There are no guests permitted.
The pass allows owners to use the recreational facilities at the P.E. Center whenever they are open to the students. This includes the racquetball courts, walking track, the Vailas Performance Center, three basketball courts and a six-lane, 25-yard swimming pool. Locker room facilities are also available.
